It wouldn’t be Christmas if there was no Panto.

General

There are some things at Christmas time that you cannot do without. Turkey, a tree, Mince Pies, the Sound of Music plus the sight of Granny desperately trying to eat her Christmas Dinner before the pasting table you’ve hastily put up, to make extra room, collapses. There is one other thing, the wonderful trip to the Panto!

If it was me I’d choose a festive show or Pantomime Preston production like the ones you can see at https://www.lancashirelife.co.uk/home/christmas/10-of-the-best-festive-shows-and-pantos-in-and-around-lancashire-1-4310736. If I haven’t had the chance to shout “he’s behind you!”,then Christmas just doesn’t start.

My favourite has to be Cinderella. It has the best storylines. With dear old Baron Hardup, his evil second wife and the Ugly sisters it gives the lads a great chance to play up and get a crazy frock on, some of the best being Christopher Biggins or Justin Fletcher.

The best thing about the Panto is it just makes you feel like a kid again. You leave the theatre on a real high. It’s just pure fun and entertainment. What a great way to get the festive period either started, finished or just spending time with family in the middle of it.
